Girls join by participating in a troop or as a Juliette Girl Scout. Juliette Girl Scouts, named after our founder, Juliette Low, gives girls an option to be Girl Scouts without attending regular meetings. A parent or other caring adult guides the girl's experiences. These options make Girl Scouting possible for every girl that wants to belong. No matter how they join, girls are given support and guidance by caring, trained adults in a safe environment. In addition to the troop setting, girls can participate through a variety of community-outreach groups. These groups and activities are designed to offer the timeless Girl Scout program through new and innovative ways.
